Want to learn how to milk goats?!

Every year we teach milking classes to the public so you can learn to milk a goat, take home some goats milk to try, learn our evening routine on the dairy farm and ask all the questions you want about getting and raising dairy goats!

This is a kid friendly class for children of all ages and can be great as a field trip for homeschooling families/groups 

If you are coming as a homeschooling family/group or just interested in some extra goat facts and would like to make it extra educational please let me know and I can print out or email you a small goat educational page and an easy at home recipe for yogurt that you can make with the goats milk you take home from the class!

This class walks you through the steps of our evening routine with our dairy goats which includes

• Feeding the goats and going over dairy goat nutrition
• hand milking each of the goats and going over safe and cleanly milk handling procedures 
• Closing all of our goats up for the night and making sure hay and waters are all full
• If we have baby goats on the farm still getting bottles you can also help us bottle feed the babies!

This class is held any day (except Fridays) from April until November at 5:00 pm or if you're a morning person 5:00 am on weekends

Classes are $40 per class! So for $40 you can bring as many people as you want (within reason we do have a small barn)
